A number of travel allowances will be provided for attending the 2024 Computational Complexity Conference (CCC’24).
Eligibility: Students from U.S. universities are eligible to apply.
The travel allowances are supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation through award CCF-2326701.
Applications should be made through the online application form on this webpage (see below). Upon successful submission of the application form, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. An email will also be sent to the person listed as faculty advisor or post-doctoral mentor, with a link to a form for a supporting statement. The supporting statement must be sent through this form, and must indicate availability of any other travel funds. For full consideration, the complete application, including the statement of support from the advisor or mentor, should be submitted no later than Jun 5, 2024. Applicants will be notified of the result of their application by Jun 10, 2024. For questions, please contact the chair of the selection committee, Ben Rossman.
The information provided in the application will be used to prioritize the awards. Preference will be given to applicants who do not have other sources of funding, who make an effort to keep costs down, e.g., by sharing a hotel room, and who are from underrepresented groups. The selection will be made by the CCF Awards Committee.
The allowances are intended to help cover certain expenses associated with attending the tutorial or conference. Details on the reimbursement process will be sent to successful applicants after the decisions have been made.
