Based on the response to the request for volunteers and start-up funds, the steering committee has unanimously decided to move forward with independence. There will be an organizational meeting the afternoon before and the morning after CCC’14 in Vancouver, i.e., the afternoon of June 10 and the morning of June 14.
The steering committee would like to thank everyone for their input, volunteering, and pledges, and would like to encourage further participation and pledges.
A more elaborate statement will be posted later.
